Deryl and Debbie McKenzie, the heart and soul of Texas Real Santa, spent over 30 years bringing Santa and Mrs. Claus to life in Houston and the surrounding areas. Born and raised in Houston, their deep connection to the city gave them a unique understanding of its people. In their early years, they worked at various malls in Houston and Dallas under Ms. Claus Productions. Eventually, they shifted their focus to more personal engagements, creating Texas Real Santa. They began booking events for private homes, businesses, hospitals, and corporate gatherings, and their popularity soared, leading them to recruit additional Santas. Today, Texas Real Santa is considered one of the top Santa businesses in Houston. Each Santa undergoes annual background checks, sports a real beard, and wears the finest suits and boots, but more importantly, they are kind-hearted individuals who love spreading joy and honoring the spirit of Santa and Mrs. Claus. Deryl and Debbie embodied the true meaning of Christmas, bringing hope and happiness to countless people. Though they have passed on, I will continue their legacy, striving for excellence and growing the business. Here's to making many more Merry Christmases and keeping their dream alive.
